Are you a Business Development Manager or BDM with a self-starter mentality, a track record of high performance and deal making capability with B2B experience?
Our client is a leading supplier of functional workwear, PPE, footwear, site essentials and safety equipment with 45 sites across the UK, as industry experts they also offer guidance on hazards, risks, compliance, best practice and resources to help youkeep your workplace safe.They have exciting plans for further growth and are now looking for a number of Business Development Managers to join their business.Head office is based in Yorkshire and as one of their Business Development Managers your rolewill be to deliver sales and profit performance by managing a number of existing accounts and securing new business within Kent and surrounding areas. The role will involve regular travel to potential clients and their sites and comes with a competitive base,company car allowance of £6.3K and OTE bonus scheme.
**As Business Development Manager, you’ll be**
- Managing existing accounts to give great service, ensuring repeat custom and long term partnerships.
- Identifying dormant accounts that have previously spent and looking to re-establish relationship and future opportunities.
- Utilizing industry and sector insight and knowledge to approach and close new business opportunities.
- Identifying the right customer stakeholders and build credibility quickly to drive for success.
- Looking at driving strategies to secure and maximize revenue from customers.
- Maintaining and updating information accurately within the CRM system.
- Building up industry contacts and relationships, networking on social sites such as linked in to identify new business opportunities.
- A proven successful track record of prospecting and delivering new business and account growth as part of a clearly defined strategy.
- Previous B2B experience is essential gained working within growing sectors with a physical product.
- Ability to make things happen - showing drive and determination towards the achievement of goals.
- Working collaboratively, building highly effective and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer centric approach with a genuine drive to achieve great customer experience.
- Proactive communicator, sharing your views and ideas and listening to those of others.
- Commercially driven with an understanding of financial performance, seeking opportunities to maximize profit and minimize costs.
- Open to Change, flexible and comfortable in an ever-changing work environment and adapts to different ways of working.
- Knowledge of health and safety related services, products, markets would be an advantage, however full training will be given.
As Business Development Manager you will bring, strong account management capability, the desire and passion to develop and convert sales opportunities around gemnuine need and the ability tro build long term sustainable realtionships with clients across multiplesectors. You must have a full license to drive in the UK.
