A s a ER Specialist you will provide a quality and solution focused Employee Relations service through providing support on complex change programmes, specialist training interventions, development of HR policies as well as involvement in diversity, inclusion and wellbeing projects which balance the needs of colleagues and the commercial considerations of the business. Working with relevant stakeholders to champion positive employee relations across the business and protect it from exposure to risk.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Providing commercial solutions to business needs through project management and training interventions
- Takes ownership for relevant parts of the ER people plan, working with relevant manager(s) to drive continuous improvement
- Support operational business partners with change projects including contractual changes, restructures, redundancy and business transfers by scoping the approach, providing relevant support and advice, and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Launching policies, handbooks and procedures through effective and timely project management and consultation with the business and stakeholders
- To remain up to date with all employment law both statute and case law, legislative changes and best practice to ensure effective and commercial case management, mitigating direct and indirect risk to the business
- Designing, developing and, where appropriate, delivering relevant and sustainable specialist ER training
- Review key people metrics to make decisions to improve results
- Reducing exposure to financial risk in projects. Identifying and managing change projects that result in business cost savings
