We currently have a new opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator/Assistant to join us in our Stockport Head Office. The purpose of the role will be to assist the Payroll Manager in providing a professional and efficient payroll service and ensuring payments are accurate and on time.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Processing starter & leavers, ensuring all statutory deductions and third-party payments are made.
- Collation of timesheets as appropriate across all payrolls.
- Process payroll for all staff using Payrite system.
- Prepare reports for audit & legislative requirements & costing analysis.
- Distribution of correspondence to employees (Pay slips, P11d’s, P60’s).
- Ensure compliance in line with HMRC requirements.
- Compile monthly and yearly reports.
- Assist with reconciliation of expenses.

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in a payroll related role.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and software.
- Excellent prioritisation, organisational skills, and ability to work to deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative; enthusiastic with ‘can do’ attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in PC operating systems (Word / Excel / Outlook) and payroll system.
