Senior Solutions Architect

Leading technology-led, global software platform provider is looking for a customer facing Senior Solutions Architect to support their Pre and Post sales process. This role collaborates closely with our commercial organisation to support the sales and implementationof their products for clients worldwide.

The Solutions Architect will be the bridge between business and technology, and will be the primary point of contact managing technical relationships with clients. The solutions architect will provide personalised, proactive support and guidance, and willhave the ability to articulate technical solutions and how they can solve client problems to all audiences, including non-technical.

**Responsibilities**
- Primary point of contact managing technical relationships with non-grocery clients, providing personalised, proactive support and guidance.
- Articulate current solutions and how they can solve client problems to audiences who are
- technical and non-technical.
- Work closely with commercial to assess the clients needs and feature requests with a view to being able to represent this to product. Inputting client use cases, scenarios and feature requirements from the client to product.
- Own the Client end to end roadmap working with product to ensure that commercial and our clients are fully aware of what will be delivered and when they will be launched. Work with the client to implement new features.
- Carry out research and analysis with clients identify and quantify needs that a new or
- improved product could deliver for a specific client.
- Carry out research and analysis with our Marketing to identify and quantify needs that a new or improved product could deliver in that specific identified markets.
- Collaborate with Marketing To develop a quality suite of materials to support the Sales Playbook and will coordinate with product teams to create the right market propositions and gain relevant support where required.
- This task will require the architect to work with product to develop full product descriptions,
- interfaces, functionality and infrastructure requirements (Network, Hosting). What makes the product what it is - USP and product specific talking points.

**Pre-Sales Phase**
- Provide support to the Commercial team to present and showcase the Products and Solutions to clients.
- Work with the commercial team as the product key point of contact in gaining an understanding of the potential client, their business and business requirements. Capture and communicate those requirements to Product team to shape the offering.
- Discuss and analyse business requirements with clients, including current practices, augmentations and workarounds. Capture and communicate these to the Product team as additional information to shape the offering to the client.
- Through site visits, interviews and data analysis with clients, develop insights into the customers usage, workflow and opportunities for our products.
- Extensive Travel

**Skills & Experience**
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Automated Warehouse environments (Commerce, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Planning and/or Final Mile systems)
- Strong understanding of how systems can be used to solve problems
- Structure and conduct meetings to achieve specific outcomes, including research, tasks, milestones and deadlines
- Negotiation skills that impress
- Loves to be client facing, enjoys challenging conversations and resolving conflicting agendas
- Experience working for technology companies - managing clients needs and strategic objectives
- Able to analyse business practices and systems to produce illustrations and supporting documentation
- Excellent problem solving and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
