This a Head of Urgent Care (Call Centre) role, responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Integrated Urgent Care service, working closely with the Medical Director, Clinical Leads, and other Service Managers.

**Description**
Key responsibilities for the Head of Urgent Care (Call Centre):
The post holder will ensure that effective and efficient structures are in place to ensure that all standards of patient care are met, and associated risk and governance matters are managed.
The post holder will support the COO in developing efficient and effective patient centred services, meeting key financial and operational performance targets, and putting in place effective processes for delivering national/local targets, reviewing theefficiency and effectiveness of services in terms of cost effectiveness and financial flows.
The role is responsible for service delivery, management & leadership and governance.
The role will be fast-paced and demanding, so the post holder will need to be an excellent communicator, be able to prioritise and have an outstanding track record of working in a similar role within a call centre.
**Profile**
The successful post holder for the Head of Urgent Care (Call Centre) will have:
- Successful track record of working in complex environments and delivery of operations
- Successful meeting of service level KPIs
- Proven leadership experience and/or formal management qualification
- Able to work cross-functionally through many teams to execute goals and set and meet milestones
- Management of large, multidisciplinary teams (50+ staff)
- Workforce planning and resource optimisation
- Management of budgets
- Successful delivery of service development activities and management of staff
- Service Improvement
- Change Management
- Working with complex data to analyse trends and support service planning
- Care Quality Commission (CQC)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Confident and approachable with a high level of resilience
- Ability to engage with people and motivate and support them to work to high standards
- Microsoft Office competent (intermediate): particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Calm under pressure, able to use initiative and make decisions
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with a variety of media and all levels of staff
- Flexibility to meet service/rota needs
- Ability to travel to all sites on request and external meeting locations on request
- Satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service check
**Job Offer**
This a Head of Urgent Care (Call Centre) role, responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Integrated Urgent Care service, working closely with the Medical Director, Clinical Leads, and other Service Managers.
The salary on offer is £50-£60k per annum (depending on experience).
