Due to the growth of the business we're looking for a Used Car Buyer to join the team. Working with the Group Buying Manager, you will purchase retail used vehicles for the Group, ensuring best possible price, working within agreed timescales and guidelines.

**Requirements**:
Core Specific Responsibilities:

- You will have budget responsibility to source vehicles via trade contacts and customer facing advertising,
- i.e., Online platforms etc.
- Agree valuations with customers ensuring all documentation is accurate and completed
- Arrange for vehicle inspection, ensuring accurate appraisal methods
- Responsibility to ensure all Due Diligence regarding finance is checked
- Responsible for vehicle transactions to inclusive parties as appropriate
- Arrange for the vehicles re-patriation to Reading
- Updating daily purchasing log as necessary

- Understand and assist in the delivery of Business Strategy and Objectives
- Deliver an agreed level of service to the Internal and External Customer, Business Partners and External Suppliers, in line with the Company Values
- Take ownership for personal development needs in anticipation of Business requirements
- Contribute fully within the team, ensuring the right environment is maintained
- Ensure the appropriate level of management control and system exploitation is applied to all relevant systems
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
