**About Us**
We are Porsche. We are home to what is, in the extraordinary scale of the automotive world, a small family of passionate enthusiasts - established in 1948 and run in Stuttgart to this day by the same family that bears the company name.
In the UK, we are trusted to represent and care for some of the most exciting, fastest, most advanced and beautiful cars ever created. We work with incredible and often inspiring customers who rightly expect our performance and ambition to match that of our cars.
Being relatively small means, we are agile - an environment in which creativity thrives. It also means every one of us makes a difference. When it comes to creating our cars, we sweat the small stuff and we truly care about every part of our business - whether on the road, competing on the track or in styling and dynamics. We are aiming to establish the benchmark in an industry in which the bar is set very high.
**About the Role**
Porsche, along with the whole automotive industry, is undergoing a speed of transformation not seen since the introduction of the very first car. New technologies are influencing our products, the way we do business, and our customer behaviours and expectations are changing just as rapidly.
Porsche is responding to this industry transformation by introducing many new exciting models which in turn are driving exceptional levels of growth in the UK market - both in sales and in turn, servicing. Porsche prides itself on delivering a first-class ownership experience to its customers, and our aim is to continue to provide our customers and network of Porsche Centres with a market-leading service in the supply of new cars as our volumes increase.
In the newly created role of Operations Support Team Lead, you will ultimately be responsible for optimising the performance of the Porsche Centre Network through our Regional Management Team, who are the interface between Porsche Cars GB Ltd and our dedicated franchised network of Porsche Centres.
Working closely with our 8-field based Regional Managers (4 dedicated to vehicle Sales and 4 dedicated to vehicle Ownership), you will utilise business improvement and development tools to drive performance whilst ensuring commercial and operational guidelines are always adhered to.
Reporting to the Manager of Network Operations, specific areas of responsibility may include, but are not restricted to the following:
- Taking ownership for the successful and smooth running of the PCGB Operations Department. Specifically focusing on communication, reporting, systems and process development, sales planning, programme and project management.
- Liaising and supporting the Regional Management team to ensure they are fully aware of every business opportunity
- Analysing trends and identifying opportunities for performance improvement across the UK Porsche Centre Network and individual with given Porsche Centres.
- Utilising internal reporting tools to develop, create and maintain a suite of reports to be shared with all relevant stakeholders
- Line management of the Operations Department Intern, providing coaching and mentoring to develop their knowledge skill and abilities.
- Be the first point of contact for all internal and external stake holders on Operations Department topics
- Supporting and managing departmental and cross departmental projects
- Manage ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from internal and external stakeholders, including Porsche AG
