Head of Security Operations

As part of the Information Security Leadership team across Europe this role will lead the European security Operations activity, working closely with the Global team and the other International teams, whilst supporting Product Technology Security, Governance, Audit and Risk within the Information Security team.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with all government regulations in all markets where we operate, compliance with company operating standards regarding information security, data protection and data privacy with an additional focus on the Nottingham TDX Group business.

It will be key to build relationships with the other International teams, benchmarking security operations performance and providing leadership to the European business on InfoSec operations. Working closely with the global and other supporting teams to ensure the right activities and tools are deployed to keep Equifax safe and secure, refine, and build the performance picture that covers security operations. Providing feedback and agreeing additional requirements for sec ops services from the global team as appropriate for Europe.

Will be the liaison with global and European leads for resilience, continuity, crisis management and incident management to ensure security incidents are managed well and to agree metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of these processes across Europe.

**What you’ll do**:

- Presents European requirements to global leads, building relationships and trust
- Ensures European key requirements are set out and met
- Responsible for reporting on key metrics across the Security Operations space. Supports the InfoSec leadership team across Europe, in particular the Product Security lead with technical expertise where required
- Will lead InfoSec engagement for TDX services and manage relationships with key stakeholders, especially the Public Sector clients
- Responsible for the identification, assessment and management of security risks associated with the local business operations of Equifax, and for local maintenance of the information security management system
- Responsible for the implementation, and local optimization, of the Equifax global security program
- Will provide local insight and guidance to the global teams who are responsible for providing security engineering, security operations, security compliance, investigations, physical security, and security awareness.

**What experience you need**:

- Have implemented security programmes that achieved ISO27001
- Strong technical skills relating to security operations, including experience of working within or leading security operations centres
- Strong stakeholder management internally and externally, with excellent interpersonal, communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly
- Identifies and solves a range of problems in complex situations
- Leads decisions within guidelines and policies
- Identifies, analyzes, monitors and minimizes areas of risk to the organization including information, physical and corporate security policies and procedures.
