The Tinned Fish Market is an online store with a stall at Borough Market in London. We pride ourselves on stocking the highest quality conservas and providing excellent customer service.
This role is for a sales person for our Borough Market stall. We are looking for an outgoing, hard working and courteous person who is passionate about food and can engage with customers, offering information about the product.
The role is for three to four days per week, and you must be available to work from Monday to Friday. You will receive a generous salary in return for hard work and enthusiasm, and there will also be opportunities to progress within the company.
**Responsibilities**
Setting up at the beginning of the day, and packing away at the end quickly and efficiently. Maintaining a wide and in depth knowledge of the product, including ingredients, allergens and provenance.Ensuring sales are recorded accurately and ensuring stock levels are managed.
**Skills**
Able to engage with customers in a courteous and friendly manner. Able to arrive punctually for work. Strong organisational skills. Prior retail experience would be an advantage. An interest in food and cooking would be an advantage.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
