Turnips is one of the oldest and largest retailers of quality fruits, vegetables and specialist foods based in the iconic Borough Market near London Bridge.

We are currently looking for retail sales assistants to join our team. Full time and part time vacancies available but must be able to work at least 3 days a week. Exact shifts will be discussed during interview.

As a Retail Sales assistant you will be working on our produce section and/or juice bar. Your duties and responsibilities will include setting up the display in the outlet, selling and till operation, interacting with customers and advising them about our offering, cleaning, moving & replenishing stock.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Turnips troop. The right person for the job will have / be:

- Fluent in English, well-spoken and confident.
- A good understanding and passion of fresh produce including merchandise and displays.
- Approachable and a good sales manner.
- Artistic background would be beneficial but not essential.
- Experience of working in a similar role / sector would be beneficial (such as fruit & veg outlets, food industry etc)

Salary will start at £10.50 per hour, going up to £12.50 per hour after successfully completing the probation period.
