Search Consultancy are proud to be partnered with a U.K. based distribution business to appoint a Sales Director from a UK & European Distribution background.
Our client is a well established family run business, who have major networks across all industry sectors within the UK & Europe. Having their own vehicles & a vast network, they are proud to meet the most demanding transport challenges.
To apply, you must have:
- A proven track record of achieving and excelling sales targets within European full load transport.
- An exceptional understanding of the European transport networks.
- A proven experience (8 years +) of working with clients looking for European transport solutions for full loads across all industries & sectors, managing clients, key account management and Director experience.
- A proven experience of working with clients looking for European transport solutions
- Have a consultative & expert approach to managing a business within the above sectors for both domestic & European transport.
- Experience of building, managing & driving teams.
The following personal attributes required are:
- Experience of a similar role within UK & EU transport / distribution solutions, selling road haulage solutions, dealing with contracted and own vehicle business
- Experience of a similar role, winning new business within the UK & EU transport space (road only)
- Highly motivated
- Flexible with a can-do attitude
- Enthusiasm drive and the desire to achieve goals & targets
- The desire and ability to be a strong team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a Full UK driving licence
