Retail Marketing Executive

As Retail Marketing Executive you will assist the Retail Marketing Manager in delivering marketing and promotional activity to our store in order to drive sales. This will include helping to deliver promotional campaigns with POS, publications and large and small format print.

You will be responsible for enriching and executing brands in store as well as upholding The Entertainer’s brand by optimising the in-store impact of POS and publications whilst working with the rest of the marketing team to ensure the consistency of our brands across all marketing materials.

You will be an ambitious, hard-working individual with exceptional organisational skills. Ideally you will already have experience in a marketing role or possess a marketing qualification. A basic understanding of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is also desirable but not essential.

You must hold a valid UK driving licence with a minimum of 12 months driving experience as you will need to visit stores and other business locations.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage specified POS and publications projects through the end-to-end process to deliver the content strategy, and business objectives.
- Responsible for the planning of POS work into suppliers & licensors and the internal Design team ensuring delivery of projects on time and to budget.
- Manage the print budget for each campaign period and any ad-hoc requirements, obtaining quotes from suppliers and negotiating for best price.
- Produce guidelines for retail for store communication and to ensure the
- correct implementation and compliance for each campaign. Liaising with stores and Retail Ops to ensure they have all the elements required to deliver the marketing campaigns.
- Work with internal and external designers to create POS content. Support the planning and production process and lead the development, delivery and
- implementation of all POS material for The Entertainer and Early Learning Centre.
- Work with external licensors, and suppliers to ensure delivery of POS material on time and to budget whilst maintaining good relationships. Identify cost saving initiatives.
- Manage the approval of assets with relevant stakeholders. Review the creative at every stage of production and manage final sign-off. Manage and present creative at the relevant approval and governance meetings.
- Manage a Post Launch Review process for each campaign and monitor the performance of each campaign in weekly reports.
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and market trends. Innovate and explore new opportunities and make recommendations for implementation.
- Responsible for the planning and execution of audio systems including store voice overs, and playlist updates in accordance with the marketing strategy and promotional campaigns.
- Manage store merchandising supplies, and gift cards including managing storage, stock levels and requests from stores to reordering and improving processes.
- Work closely with the Retail Marketing Manager, as a main support on key initiatives, branch openings and concept development.
- Support the Events Coordinator to create engaging events and stay ahead of the competition.

**Skills & Experience**
- Ideally a degree or equivalent qualification and proven experience within a marketing or print environment (ideally 1-3 years).
- Experience of managing budgets.
- Experience of project management.
- Experience with MS Office: PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

- Point of sale and in store communications: understanding, knowledge and experience of POS including end to end production and process management.
- **Project Management** - Project management, planning and workflow: ability to effectively manage multiple projects and stakeholders to deliver on time, to budget and brief.
- **Briefing and Commissioning** - Excellent briefing, proofreading and editing skills. Attention to detail and restless in delivering high levels of accuracy, consistency, and safety compliance.
- **Numerate** - Numerical literacy: can read, understand, interpret and use financial information and data to make informed commercial decisions with experience of managing costs and budgets
