**Overview**
The Support Worker is responsible for providing compassionate, personalised care and support to our service users in Aberdeen and the surrounding areas. This role involves assisting with a wide range of daily activities and tasks to enhance the independence and quality of life for the individuals in our care

**Responsibilities**

Personal Care
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Supporting with use of toilet and bathroom facilities
- Ensure a high standard of personal care is maintained

Medication Management
- Support service users with their medication routines
- Monitor and record medication administration
- Report any concerns or issues related to medication

Domestic Duties
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment

Community Engagement
- Accompany service users on escorted outings and activities
- Facilitate social interaction and encourage community involvement
- Provide companionship and emotional support

Care Plan Monitoring
- Maintain and update accurate daily notes
- Communicate any concerns or updates to the care team
- Contribute to the review and updating of care plans as needed

Professional Development
- Participate in mandatory training and continuous learning opportunities
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and skills in care practices
- Adhere to all organisational policies, procedures, and professional standards

**Qualifications** **and Skills**
- No prior experience in the care profession is required
- Compassionate and positive attitude
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Willingness to learn and grow within the care profession
- Passion for supporting individuals and promoting independence

Pay: From £12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
