**Your Role**:
As an **Administrative Assistant**, you’ll handle a variety of tasks to support our clients efficiently, including:
- **Credit control** - Reviewing aged receivables reports, contacting debtors (B2B), following up on payments, and resolving queries.
- **Clerical duties** - Data entry, invoice processing, supplier bill processing, purchase order matching, timesheet inputting, and document organisation.
- **Communication & Coordination** - Sending documents to clients’ customers and keeping key stakeholders informed.
- **Phone Handling** - Answering and directing calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- **Bookkeeping Support** - Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks using **Xero/QuickBooks**.
- **Problem-Solving** - Helping to resolve administrative queries efficiently.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- **IT-savvy** - Comfortable using various software, apps, and systems.
- **Credit Control Experience** - A must-have for this role.
- **Detail-Oriented** - A sharp eye for accuracy is essential.
- **Organised & Proactive** - Able to juggle multiple clients and tasks efficiently.
- **Strong Communicator** - Excellent written and verbal skills.
- **Team Player** - Enthusiastic about growing with our close-knit team.
**Essential Software Skills**:
- **Must be proficient in**: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- **Experience with (preferred but not essential)**: Xero, QuickBooks, Hire Hop, Coupa, Payapps
**The Details**:
- **Location**: Our office is just moments from Worthing train station and major bus routes (please note, no on-site parking).
- **Hours**: Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM (35 hours per week, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break) - **non-negotiable**.
- **Salary**: £21,840.00 per annum
