**About the role**

We're excited to be recruiting a HR People Partner to join our friendly people team based in Speke with occasional travel to other sites. Working with the Senior People Partners in a generalist role that'll support specific business areas and provide a wide variety of guidance and advice to your stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR advisor who likes to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a wider supportive People team

Here at Very we are **super flexible** and this role is **available for 30 hours per week** and benefits from a hybrid working arrangement.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support and coach managers on effective resolution of people matters; performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes & practices including delivery of upskill workshops
- Providing expertise and support in business consultation and restructuring exercises.
- Support, and sometimes lead, change activities and initiatives with the People team that are aligned to strategic objectives.
- Maintaining a relevant external understanding of HR policy and practice.
- Interested in the use of people MI for your business areas, conducting analysis and suggesting improvements

**About you.**
- Confident in working autonomously but as part of a collaborative wider People team.
- Able to operate in a fast-paced environment & prioritise effectively.
- Working knowledge of UK employment law and EU legislation.
- Ability to support the delivery of change initiatives.
- CIPD would be an advantage.
