**About the Compliance Team and the Role**

THG is looking to recruit a Regulatory Affairs Officer for Foods and Food Supplements with previous experience and understanding of regulations pertaining to Foods and Food Supplements for South Korea, to join our Nutrition & Regulatory Affairs team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review of completed product recipes/specifications for compliance with internal policies and country specific legislative requirements.
- Review of marketing material and labelling for compliance with regional regulatory requirements, including usage of claims relating to nutritional content, structure and function and other marketing claims.
- Food and dietary supplement expertise collaborating with Regulatory Team, Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Purchasing, and others to leverage regulations.
- Provide regulatory guidance and answer compliance-related questions regarding new and reformulated product concepts. Identify and provides resolution to strategic and tactical regulatory issues pertaining to food ingredients, advertisements and labelling.
- Performing Risk assessments with product concepts, recipes to help business understand potential risk in the local market and to protect brand reputations. Researching overseas and domestic competitors in the local market and identify risks and solutions for the business.
- Continuously monitoring local regulation changes and notifying relevant teams to avoid any non-compliance risks.
- Educating Country Marketing Team and others to ensure all marketing materials compliance with country specific legislative requirements.
- Assist Head of Food Regulatory Affairs Compliance in developing regulatory strategies that enable corporate growth and profitability.

**Requirements**:

- Good understanding of regulations regarding Food and Food Supplements in South Korea.
- Good understanding of regulations regarding nutritional, health and other marketing claims present on websites, marketing material and labelling for compliance with South Korean regulatory requirements.
- Native level of Korean language
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and capable of prioritising.
