Avanti Recruitment is currently partnered with a Financial Service company based in Edinburgh, which is looking for a remote SQL Developer to join their current team and become a vital asset towards driving existing and new projects forward.

Their new projects include modernising their systems to SQL 2019 and in the next 12/18 months, they are upgrading all their legacy on-prem software to modern cloud-based systems such as Azure. Their Head of IT joined over a year ago and has mapped out anexciting plan for the company. Also in the pipeline, they are upgrading their data warehouse function using snowflake.

Since launching in 2010 they have supported change by providing outsourced investment services to private banks, family businesses, and offices. Their main office is in Edinburgh but they do offer flexible remote working and have a hot spot office in Glasgow.

Your role will be to communicate with stakeholders about what reports they are looking for this will let you work in all areas of the business. This will also mean you will see your finished product and get direct feedback from clients.

They are a remote-first company whilst still building great relationships with everyone to create a positive work environment. They meet up once per month for collaborations and enjoy team game nights with pizza, beer and ping pong
