**Description**:
You would be working on a variety of small projects and enhancements as part of the Corporate Applications Continuous Improvement team. This newly-formed team will service requests from a number of departments across the organisation, therefore the typeof work will be wide-ranging.

The Corporate Applications Continuous Improvements team will work closely with colleagues in Information Systems and the various business departments to ensure that requests are serviced in a timely manner. The type of work is extensive and is likely toinclude:

- Development of small-scale systems to service a business need
- Requests for data transfers
- Enhancements to existing systems and processes

SQL

PL/SQL

Creation and maintenance of stored procedures in accordance with department coding standards

The role may also include the use of SQL Server

Agile development:
We use an Agile approach to deliver high quality software early and often. A familiarity with Scrum is essential

There will be business user contact and interaction with other team members, the role requires a willingness to engage and support others

Whilst it varies from task to task, and whilst we operate strict peer review and release policies, we expect developers to have the ability to drive any of these stages as required

Application Lifecycle Development:
Ability to prioritise workloads, be flexible, work to tight deadlines and communicate with people across the organisation is essential
