Office Angels Livingston are collaborating with one of our long term clients for a temporary Finance Assistant to specifically support with Accounts Payable duties. The role is perfect for someone who is available immediately, has proven experience in asimilar role and looking for further experience in a new industry. Based in Livingston West Lothian, you will be full time home-based Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm after your initial training period of 1 - 2 weeks.

**Role Overview**

Personality fit, with the ability to communicate and work at pace are key qualities to succeed in the role. The role has a strong accounts payable and invoice focus and is an all-round generalist finance role.

**Duties & responsibilities to include**:

- Supporting the Assistant Financial Controller in the day-to-day running of the finance department.
- Daily management of invoices including audit of purchase and raising of sales invoices, along with correct support paperwork
- Credit card posting
- Working closely with the customer relationship team to provide financial support and Operational Reports to clients and suppliers.
- Monthly cash flow projection
- Taking an active involvement in identifying and implementing initiatives, which support the efficient operation of the business
- Supplier Management
- Achieve ledger close-down and sales invoice month end
- Accurate client reporting
- Working as part of an efficient team

**Skills and Experience required**:

- Previous experience within a Finance Department
- Ability to work accurately at pace and to deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Strong IT skills
