We’re looking for a **Finance Assistant**on a full time, permanent basis to join us at our Iceland site in**Livingston**. You’ll be responsible for the processing and reconciling of the weekly **payroll** including agency timesheets, raising **purchase** orders, including goods receipting once orders received. Additionally, you’ll support the compilation of weekly and monthly accruals and reports.

You’ll be working on a rotating, shift pattern, week 1 being Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm and week 2, Sunday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm we offersome flexibility on start time, likewise if you can give us some flexibility during peak times that would be great,after all this is logistics

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to **£ 25,931.00** per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Primarily processing and reconciling Weekly Payroll & Agency timesheets for circa 400+ employees
- Timely and accurate raising of purchase orders, including goods receipting once orders have been received
- Reconciliation of accounts to SAP on a weekly/ monthly basis, including preparation of accruals/prepayments with the maintenance and creation of management reporting spreadsheets
- Support the Finance Manager with providing analysis to the customer, and the provision of monthly reporting packs including the running weekly and monthly finance reports and completing adequate checks
- Adhoc finance administration to keep day to day functions running for the site

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Experience in a similar finance role, a qualification would be a plus but not essential
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to analyse data and strong MS Excel knowledge
- An enthusiastic and inquisitive nature with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Customer focussed team player with a proactive approach and able to communicate at all levels
