Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for our client based in the Redditch area for an experienced Financial Controller.
You will be required to:
- Prepare monthly accounts and Board Presentation Pack including non-financial information
- Identify and capitalise monthly asset additions as appropriate from Invoices/ledgers.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register and calculate monthly Depreciation thereon.
- Monitor Capex Spending and arrange finance as required by Directors.
- Monitor Fuel Card usage and supervise Fuel Card system.
- Complete year-end audit, liaison with Auditors and delivery of Audit Timetable.
- Prepare various reports and analyses as required.
- Deal with Auditor queries.
- Balance all year end control accounts.
- Audit clearance meeting.
- Corporation Tax and S455 returns - provide information for and review calculations.
- Monitor cash and bank balances and report to Directors on issues.
- Prepare annual budget from sales figure forecasts provided.
- Prepare annual recovery rate calculations from budgets.
- Other costing exercise as required.
- Preparation and submission of quarterly GB VAT returns.
- Preparation and submission of monthly GB EC Sales list.
- Management of Credit granted to customers.
- Monitoring and reporting of credit issues to Directors.
This is an extensive role, and in return my client are offering a competitive salary within the business with opportunities career development / progression.
This is working 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday.
£45,000 (negotiable depending on experience).
