**Purpose of role**
Our company puts our people and our clients at the core of what we do - Brynteg School a high profile, prestigious client and as Contact Support you will need to demonstrate flexibility, excellent communication across all levels of the organisation, be able to challenge poor performance where needed to ensure we are delivering great customer experience. The ability to build and maintain good relationships is critical for this role.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team who delivers a quality service and demonstrates our company values every day. A varied role, you will need excellent organisational and planning skills, as well as strong people management and leadership.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Working closely with the Facilities Manager
- Carry out key-holder duties and (on rotation) respond to emergency callouts. Lock and unlock school buildings and other areas.
- Carry out daily checks of site and rectify any if appropriate or report/ escalate any issues to the appropriate person.
- Check premises and facilities for cleanliness and manage the onsite cleaning team, undertaking cleaning duties as required. Collect and assemble waste for collection.
- Assist with minor repairs and undertake basic maintenance tasks such as fitting shelves, display boards, painting and decorating.
- Operate plant and equipment (boilers, lighting, water).
Ensure maintenance tasks such as litter picking, leaf clearing and maintaining hard paved areas are completed. Pathways and steps treated with salt, grit and sand as required
- Check on stock levels of consumables (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels etc.) and communicate any requirements to the Middle/Upper School Manager for ordering.
- Undertake basic record keeping (e.g., recording meter readings)
- Assist with health and safety and other audits as required.
- Carry out regular audits on site to monitor quality and continually improve standards
- Add value to customer experience through strong relationship building, ensuring we continue to meet and exceed their needs or expectations
- Be the first line in any Employee relations escalations, conducting investigations and Disciplinaries when required, managing performance and absence levels.

- Knowledge of health and safety procedures including fire safety management - Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh would be advantageous.
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
