**Workshop Operative**

**Salary**: £19,760 - £23,760

Overview of the Workshop Operative role.
- To repair, rebuild and refurbish machines to a high standard ready for installation
- To configure / customise machine to customer specification
- To ensure machine complies with latest technical bulletins and modifications
- Check all test routines and metering, repairing if required
- To repair, test or refurbish various electrical components in a cost effective and timely manner.
- To repair various Coin Mech’s and Note Acceptors
- To diagnose PC faults, replace faulty components, reimage HDD’s & test PC’s network capability
- To repair power supplies & other electrical items as and when necessary
- To first fix TFT monitors / replace Touch Screen membranes and re calibrate.
- PAT test all equipment and record on data base
- Provide technical support / guidance to other internal business sectors
- To ensure that work area is kept clean, tidy and free of hazards and that good housekeeping is maintained at all times
- To take reasonable care for health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.
- To ensure the Company social responsibility policies in relation to gambling and statutory provisions of the Gambling Act 2005 and the Gambling Commission Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice are fully complied with at all times, and with specific reference to
- Ensure all gaming products are fully compliant
- Ensure all gaming machines are correctly labelled
