We have an opportunity for an immediate start Finance Administrator.
ID Logistics maybe relatively new to the UK market but we are backed by over 20 years of experience across the globe. We are an ambitious bunch and as the opportunities open to us to grow our UK business we need to expand our finance team.
This is a Finance Administration position within the UK Team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our finance team. The role includes managing financial records, processing invoices and payments, and supporting reporting and analysis. A strong understanding of financial systems, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are key to success in this position.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including invoices, expenses and others
- Keep accounting systems updated with current data
- Process incoming invoices and enter them into the accounting system
- Assist with invoice approvals and follow up on outstanding payments
- Support with bank reconciliation
- Compile and analyse financial data for monthly and weekly reports
- Perform KPI analysis and support ad-hoc financial analysis
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
- Support the preparation and submission of tax returns, VAT returns, and payroll data
- Gather costs and hours for invoicing and reporting
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Perform account reconciliations, including supplier payments and statements
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly cash flow reports
- Manage and track business expenses
**Requirements and Skills**
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) (advantageous)
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as Xero, SAP, SAGE, or QuickBooks (advantageous but not mandatory)
- Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles, acquired through study or practical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential)
- High level of attention to detail
- Numerical proficiency
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to maintain and interpret complex data sets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Depending on current qualifications, additional study may be required
