We are looking for a dedicated, motivated and experienced Social Workers to join our Adults Mental Health team based in the North East and South West of Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to further their developmentworking in a busy, and innovative Mental Health department.In this role you will complete assessments with people who are experiencing difficulties with their Mental Health and/or substance misuse, to gain greater independence to meet their assessed outcomesthrough support planning, in accordance with the Care Act 2014. In addition to this, applicants are expected to have experience of working alongside The Mental Capacity Act (2005), The Mental Health Act (1983) and in addressing and leading on Safeguardingenquiries. You will have a sound understanding of the application of a strengths-based approach to practice, whilst being person centred, promoting safe and effective social care services.As a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England, youwill need strong interpersonal and organisational skills. You will have a passion for delivering positive outcomes in addition to an ability to recognise problems, identify solutions and negotiate situations. We work with a variety of different professionsfrom many partner agencies, including CMHTs and housing, to achieve a holistic approach to assisting clients with their wellbeing. You will also need to have proficient IT, communication and written skills. You must be able to work autonomously, prioritiseyour work and respond flexibly to competing demands. Our daily work is undertaken in individuals' homes, residential and supported accommodation services, and in hospital settings. The areas we cover are Basingstoke & Deane, Hart & Rushmoor, and Alton & Bordon.You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire, and it is essential that you have a current drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis. Hampshire Adults' Health and care support flexible working - you will haveaccess to a hybrid for daily use to support working from home alongside rota access to our office.Full COVID-19 vaccination status will be required as a condition of employment. Recent legislation now mandates that anyone working in a CQC registered care home,which includes all regulated services in HCC Care, and those visiting in a professional capacity, must be fully vaccinated (MHRA approved) by 11 November 2021.What we can offer you:We understand the demands and emotional challenges of the job.
