VisionFR is recruiting a **WIP manager / controller** on behalf of an Events & Production agency. The role will be based in London, in their Kings Cross offices with a minimum of 3 days from the office. The role will be working across globalprojects and currencies alongside the delivery producers so experience in working across multiple budgets and currencies simultaneously is critical.

This is a newly created role to work closely with the FD (currently being recruited), the Studio lead, and the company Director. They will also work closely with each regional event lead on closing out all project budgets.

The Main focus will be on a new client they have recently won worth Circa £6m Billing per annum. Although the role will be across the business and all clients.

The Main focus of the **WIP Manager/Controller**:

- Work with Studio Lead and Company Director on Maintaining best practice of systems and processes but also identifying and implementing improvements
- Track all payments and assign to project budgets
- Ensure all costs are allocated correctly to the correct jobs
- Good understanding of VAT to ensure that this is charged correctly on international & Domestic client invoices
- Ensure that all costs do not exceed estimate
- Liaise with the Regional Project leads to ensure you understand the jobs being opened and that correct estimates are created
- Check all jobs for Billability and ensuring jobs are invoiced at the correct time
- Liaise with FD on Revenue recognition
- Making sure all jobs are closed swiftly on completion making sure there are no write offs
- Report on profitability by job/ client
- Assist with any ad hoc work or analysis

- Strong communication/presentation skills both oral and written
- Adaptable and flexible
- Solution orientated. Adopts a common-sense approach
- Strong Excel skills
- Understanding of Quick books & Xero
- Good exposure to WIP management within a Creative agency
- Committed, determined and robust

**Experience**:

- Min. 3 years working within a creative agency and working with WIP
