Job Role Summary
To deliver an effective and competent level of administrative support to the Business Support team and consistently deliver a ‘patient-focused’ service which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships.
To provide support and administration services to the team in a flexible and professional manner, whilst maintaining a patient focus.
The post holder must have experience of working under pressure and to be comfortable and accepting of change.
Main duties and responsibilities
Assist in scheduling Multi-Disciplinary Meetings and Reviews with CHC nurses, Patient, Next of Kin and Social Workers, providing support to those in attendance with issues in connectivity etc.
Assist in preparing and sending outcome letters to Patients and their Next of Kin.
Assist in preparing for the weekly Quality Assurance Panels, to ensure all stakeholders have received their packs to effectively undertake the meetings.
Complete data entry within the Broadcare system and ensure data is regularly monitored, up to date, and stored in a way that is easily accessible to all relevant team members.
Deal with telephone enquiries, ensuring messages are passed on to the relevant team member as soon as possible, or direct the caller to the relevant team.
The post holder will have the ability to work unsupervised and on their own initiative to deal with enquiries and routine matters.
Continuing Healthcare is a fast paced team, therefore the post holder will be adaptable and able to work to deadlines.
Ensure they remain up to date with mandatory training and personal development.
Communication and Relationship Skills
Respond appropriately to queries and complaints on a range of complex, serious and or contentious matters.
Communicate effectively with all callers, providing professional and well-informed responses and dealing with matters in a courteous manner.
Provide administrative support on specific pieces of work and projects as required by the organisation.
Prioritise and manage weekly workload.
