30 Euston Square is an award-winning venue managed by Searcys and it is renowned for its food, service and state of art facilities. The venue includes numerous meeting, fine dining and auditorium rooms with large exhibition spaces and a beautiful outdoor terrace

**The primary role of the porter team will be**:

- To provide a clean and safe working area following Searcy Health and Safety requirements.
- To set rooms and equipment as required for events and business needs, assisting clients and operations staff as needed
- To receive, count, check and store goods and/or equipment and dispense or dispose of them to/from Back and Front of House departments as and when required.
- To ensure managing/securing of stock which includes notifying departmental managers when stock is required and notifying teams of stock issues.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities Front of House Operations**:

- To ensure that all goods received are properly counted/inspected to match specifications as per delivery notes.
- To move all set up the venue in co-ordination with the BEOs and the requirements of the clients
- To move equipment safely and carefully to protect the fabric of building and the furniture on site
- To set up the stage and build equipment as and when required.
- To liaise with all couriers, clients and delivery drivers with efficiency, politeness and coherence
- Provide all areas of the back of house are maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and organisation that is expected from Searcy requirements.
- Manage and secure liquor stock, ensure that the deliveries are counted and loaded carefully into the wine store in the appropriate area. To make sure any discrepancies are reported to the Operations Manager.
- Create and keep organised files of documentation relating to receipt/return of goods and equipment as well record the dispense/returns of alcohol and other beverages within the building

**Key Responsibilities Back of House Operations**:

- To ensure that all goods received are properly counted/inspected to match specifications as per delivery notes.
- Report at once any discrepancies to deliveries via internal forms to your line manager.
- To keep organised files of documentation relating to receipt/return of goods, wastage/dispose of goods and equipment as well record the dispense/returns of alcohol and other beverages within the building.

**Salary**: £11.60 per hour
