Chief of Staff to The CEO

**London based, including regular international travel**
- This is a unique opportunity to support the CEO of William Hill and 888 as we embark on an exciting new phase. As Chief of Staff, you'll support the CEO with all elements of their role, maximising their productivity and impact.
- You'll be a key member of the Executive Office, coordinating the activity of the CEO and their Executive Team to maximise their focus on the strategic priorities of the business. You'll be an integrator, breaking down siloes and bringing together Senior Leaders to tackle issues cross-functionally. Insight and information are key for the CEO to make the right decisions for the business, so you'll need to ensure the CEO has the right information, at the right time, with the right analysis, to make quality strategic decisions.
- You'll play a leading role in the creation and execution of the corporate strategy - supporting the CEO to identify internal opportunities and risks and advising on how to address these. Where there are competing priorities within the Senior Leadership Team, you'll facilitate cross-functional decision making and represent the interests of the organisation without a functional or business unit agenda.
**Your key responsibilities and accountabilities**
- You'll be responsible for managing information flows to the CEO and their Leadership Team, ensuring the right information is available at the right time to make key decisions. You'll prepare the CEO for key meetings, decisions, and events, help prioritise their schedule (with EA) and assess enquiries directed to the CEO, determining the proper course of action and delegating to the right people.
- You'll build the agenda for Executive Committee and Operational management meetings, working with Internal Comms to draft materials and to create an effective communication strategy and execution plan. You'll lead and monitor the delivery of specific projects for the CEO and the Executive Team
- Working with Analytics, you'll prepare a monthly KPI reporting dashboard for the CEO and Executive Committee to monitor the progress of tasks delegated by the CEO, follow up on their progress, ensure the right support is provided by the Executive Office and that results are delivered.
- Our Exec team will rely on you to be a senior integrator, bringing together leaders, teams and workstreams to tackle problems cross-functionally and come to decisions that are in the interest of the business. You'll be in a position to broker strategic decisions that are in the interest of the business and the CEO’s strategic plans.
- Your success in this role will depend on your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders across the business, to develop a deep understanding of their functions, and to bring together Leaders to tackle the organisation’s largest strategic problems. You'll also play a role in building and maintaining strong relationships with key external partners.
**Skills and experience**
- We're looking for evidence of your ability to advise the CEO and their Executive Team on a wide variety of strategic and operational elements to support decision making. You must be confident working collaboratively across functions and geographies to deliver results, and you must be able to draw on your experience of assessing the external and internal operating environment, identifying risks and opportunities, and preparing leadership teams for decisions.
- You're an exceptional project manager and people manager with the ability to communicate well with senior audiences and to build strong relationships with Executive teams. You'll need to demonstrate strong organisation skills and experience managing many competing projects and priorities. Attention to detail and quality control are core elements of your skillset.
- Strong analytical skills are essential, with proven ability to analyse complex data from multiple sources and provide insight driven recommendations - simplifying complex messages when appropriate. You'll need to bring an appreciation of the drivers and levers of business performance, identifying root cause and suggesting solutions. You possess strong financial management skills, with a thorough understanding of budgeting, forecasting and business KPIs.
