Department Overview

The Motorola Solutions channel operations team is responsible for the delivery, execution and trading terms of the channel partner program; developing and facilitating partner access to tools, products, scorecards and communications; and providing governanceand operational excellence to enable channel partners to market and sell more effectively.

This role can be home based with travel to office when required or hybrid between office and home.

Channel Operations Administrator Role

The Channel Operations Administrator will play an important role in the channel operations team, ensuring the smooth running of the day to day operations and delivering operational excellence in the deliverables to the Motorola Solutions channel partners.

This is an interesting and challenging role for an individual with a strong administrative background, who is able to work well under pressure, and has the versatility to perform daily task based activities and be involved in other ad hoc channel programsupport as required.

Whilst part of a small team, this individual will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with IT, field sales, product management, finance and marketing on channel program initiatives that drive channel success, but also improve operational efficiency.

Scope of Responsibilities & Expectations
- Management of the channel operations mailbox and channel operations communications to channel partners and internal channel sales team.
- Ownership of channel operations internal online community pages 'BatChat’ and the weekly notices published to the site.
- Responsibility for the maintenance and governance of channel process and operational guides and online portals such as Partner Central.
- Support for Motorola Solutions WAVE PTX operations such as account management, subscription renewals, reporting and ordering processes.
- Participation in ad hoc channel programs, working with other business functions across Motorola Solutions, such as IT, product operations, marketing, channel analysts, etc on initiatives that drive channel engagement and/or improve operational efficiencyproviding a measurable benefit to Motorola Solutions and our channel.

- Experience in an administrative role.
- Customer focused mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A natural forward planner who is proactive, tenacious and self-driven.
- Must be well organised with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to identify, recommend and deliver improvements to existing programs and processes.
- A strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Appreciation of channel business models would be useful.
- Some travel to Hampshire and London may be required.
