**Main Purpose of the role**:
To support the departments of CILT in the provision of a strategic and proactive marketing service that supports the organisation objectives. Duties will include:

- Line management for a marketing executive
- Marketing support to business areas and brands to include support on strategic marketing plans to deliver business objectives
- Develop of tactical marketing campaigns both online and offline ensuring the success of the marketing plan
- To provide marketing support and professional guidance to CILT staff on promotion of all products and services
- To act as brand guardian ensuring that the corporate identity is preserved and branding applied consistently
- To source and manage outside agencies and contractors in the support of agreed marketing activity.
- The proactive arrangement of contra deals for both products and services
- To keep up to date with the latest marketing developments and techniques
- Managing marketing projects in-line with the needs of internal customer requirements, time and budget constraints
- Sourcing and managing stocks of promotional materials
- Negotiating, arranging and managing presence at agreed trade exhibitions
- Assisting with the creation and management of website and social media content
- Management of budgets and forecasts
- Management of the marketing planner and allocation of resources and work within the team
- Any other tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the role

**Person Specification**:
**Essential**
- A minimum of 3 years management experience
- A minimum of 4 years marketing experience
- A highly organised communicator with an excellent eye for detail
- A skilled negotiator and contract manager
- A Team player with positive interpersonal skills and proven leadership experience.
- Excellent presentation and budget management skills
- Experience in creating, managing and monitoring digital marketing campaigns
- Able to work to deadlines and under pressure
- Able to take ownership and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Good IT skills and CRM skills

**Desirable**
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Ideally a marketing degree or relevant marketing qualifications
