Consumer Additions are partnering with a leading Consumer Goods business based in Kent, who are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team. This will be a new role in their well established team, with room for future growth and progression

The role is a newly created position to support the current team in key period end and forecasting cycles due to the transition to IFRS. This will involve strong technical experience with a keen eye for detail in addition to a commercial mindset with submissionof management accounts and subsequent business partnering.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete insightful monthly management accounts for corporate functions, with engaging commentary and analysis including benchmarking against budget and performance metrics
- Responsible for review of all budgeting and forecasting activities including reporting packs
- Monthly cash flow and working capital reporting
- Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements for the interim and annual accounts under IFRS
- Assist with the internal review of quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
- Respond to audit requests as part of the annual audit process
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns and the annual Corporation Tax Return

Skills & Experience
- Newly Qualified or Finalist level ACA/ ACCA or International equivalent
- Audit or industry experience of statutory accounts within a large business environment
- Experience of Retail/ FMCG/ Manufacturing industries a bonus
- IRFS/ SAP and Advanced Excel advantageous
- Exposure to preparation of consolidated statutory accounts
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the business
