Operating as a medium-sized business, they offer an excellent working environment and are committed to fostering career development and progression.Job DescriptionFinancial Accountant duties include;Prepare monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving issues promptlyPrepare and manage accurate financial statements and reportsOversee and lead all group tax processes, including corporation tax returns, VAT and CT61 submissionsAssess impacts of new tax regulationsLead the preparation of year-end financial accounts, supporting a smooth audit process.Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.Drive initiatives across management accounts to challenge existing processes and enhance controlsMaintain clear accounting and financial reporting process documentation, providing continuous analytical support to the wider finance teamThe Successful ApplicantA successful Financial Accountant should have:A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
