To work as part of a friendly and industrious PR and marketing team that is committed to workforce development and making things happen for its client base. The agency works on the basis of PR and marketing without frontiers and 50% of the revenue streamis generated from overseas clients. Established nearly 30 years ago the business is a multiple award winning agency which supports clients, some of whom are at the cutting edge of technology.

Overview
- To support B2B clients with PR and social media. The agency represents a range of UK and international clients that are predominantly involved in manufacturing, packaging, engineering and logistics, some of which are leaders in their field.

Key tasks

To work as part of the PR team on different accounts including:

- Drafting press releases and case studies (training where needed to be provided)
- Pre-placing, interviewing for and writing features
- Resubmitting editorial for forthcoming feature opportunities
- Forming relationships with key media contacts
- Updating client websites where required and acting as the lead (after training)
- Researching, preparing and after approval posting social media content (mostly Twitter, LinkedIn and FB).
- Preparing the design brief and drafting the text for client literature
- Drafting agendas and minutes
- Arranging conference calls and Teams meetings. Occasionally travelling to client meetings including overseas
- Interviewing clients and their customers/suppliers
- Liaising with other members of the PR and marketing team on related issues such as joint meetings, circulation of releases, digital images and occasionally providing support for account related issues _- eg reporting back on client difficulties_
- Supporting client exhibitions where required including press packs, product launches and general pre-event media support
- Populating client newsletter mailers and other digital comms
- Providing social media support and blogs
- Booking advertising space

Other Activities
- Regular duties include the review of PR coverage, developing new themes and ideas
- Attending office planning meetings and reporting back on work in progress
- Alerting the directors to any client or supplier related issues that could affect the company

General
- An ability to work as a team player and integrate with other members of staff is an important part of the job.
- Recognising that the company is a small business, a flexible approach is needed and you will on occasions be asked to assist with duties outside the above description.

This is an interesting but demanding role, the ability to work in a timely manner is important.

Must be 100% committed - we don’t want people moonlighting
