Customer Service Advisor - Sales and Distribution

**(Mon to Fri days)**

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team here in **York**. We will provide you with all the training needed for this position, so what you lack in experience you need to make up for in enthusiasm, reliability and a can do attitude. Because it’s a small but busy branch, it offers a good level of variety, as you will have a balanced mix, working on the sales counter, assisting throughout the stores / warehouse and lots of customer service.

The site in Chorley is a little different from our typical Jewson outlets as it focuses on one customer, which provides a much closer working relationship and allows us build a better understanding of their requirements. This in turn helps our team to be more proactive and efficient in their day to day duties.

**What will I be doing in this role?**

The **Customer Service Advisor **role is a key role within this branch, from dealing with customer enquiries, working on the trade counter, managing the stock levels and ordering essential items, unloading deliveries right through to stacking shelves.

**Key day to day duties include**:

- Checking customer details on out system
- Printing delivery notes / checking orders
- Serving customers
- Stock replenishment
- General retail duties
