Objectives of the role
- Assisting account directors, assurance groups and clients to ensure that operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner
- Set out a strategic plan that embeds QSHE in the DNA of the account
- Continuously improve the QSHE behaviours and execution across the account
- identifies the operational QHSE requirements, QHSE culture improvements and client key risk areas
- monitor and improve QHSE performance reporting
- Set out an internal and contractor audit plan for yourself and your team
- Implement the Integrated Management System; ensuring through an Account Quality Contract Management Plan that a robust and efficient system is maintained, aligned to associated accreditations
- Active member of the QHSE function
- Undertake QHSE training particularly the core Mitie QHSE training such as risk assessment, tool box talks etc and the key client training
What are specific skills needed?
- Significant client care experience and able to articulate data, trends and reports under pressure to high level audiences across multiple sites and multiple disciplines
- Be very team orientated and approachable. You need to get involved and be part of solutions within operations. Taking the lead and seeing plans through to the end
- experience of implementing change programmes
- Good understanding of ISO and relevant British Standards applicable to the businesses.
- Able to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
- NEBOSH Diploma/equivalent or above
- CMIOSH or working towards CPD (desirable but not essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Detailed knowledge of risk assessment, management and controls.
- Excellent ability to communicate in all forms and using MS Office systems and tools
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
