Public Inquiry Administrative Officer, North Bristol NHS Trust, from £27,055 + excellent NHS benefits (AfC Band 5)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join North Bristol NHS Trust and support is response to the COVID-19 public inquiry.

This role will work across the EPRR and corporate governance teams, ensuring that the organisation has adequate records, information and data collated to support the inquiry. It will also provide more general administrative support to the EPRR and corporate governance functions as required.

You will be based at Southmead Hospital in North Bristol. Salary from £27,055-£32,934(AfC Band 5) and excellent NHS benefits, starting on 27 days AL + bank holidays and excellent pension.

**You**:

- Have strong administrative and organisation skills including collating and cataloguing information / evidence pertaining to Public Inquiries or similar.
- Have a keen eye for detail.
- Be able to build and maintain a wide range of working relationships.
- Have a good understanding of the health and social care environment.

**The post holder will**:

- Support the planning and implementation of the organisation’s preparations for the public inquiry.
- Map the organisation’s actions in response to Covid-19 and prepare relevant timelines and documentation accordingly.
- Research, and support the development of guidance to staff on the capture, retention and management of records and documents likely to be needed for the inquiry.
- Under supervision from the EPRR Manager, identify, preserve, and catalogue and collate written documentation potentially relevant to the inquiry.
- Prepare and monitor a risk and issues register relevant to the public inquiry.
- Support the EPRR Manager and other senior staff to manage the key risks and issues associated with the inquiry, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to mitigate or respond, reporting as necessary.
- Monitor correspondence related to the public inquiry, ensuring that the EPRR Manager, Director of Corporate Governance, Lead Executive and others are kept up to date with an appropriate level of detail.
- Support the Corporate Governance function of the hospital with other projects and workstreams as required.

- Liaise and communicate effectively with stakeholders, both internal and external to the Trust and act as the main point of contact for the public inquiry.
- Support the Corporate Governance function of the hospital with other projects and workstreams as required.
- Undertake analysis of data/information sources.
- Be an ambassador for the organisation in respect
