The products offered include a wide range of options, both in-person and digital. These include content-led conferences (large scale and small to medium), exhibitions (large scale), trade shows (large scale), training seminars (including "In House"), brokered meetings, live stream content-led conferences, live stream training seminars, digital distance learning certificates, post-grad diplomas, LLMs, MBA, digital publications in finance, digital marketing services, and hybrid in-person/live stream events. As a Sales Associate, you'll get the chance to help customers discover the perfect events and courses that we offer across various industries. You'll have access to the expertise of our business development and technical staff to ensure you give the best advice possible. When making sales, your focus will be on meeting the customer's training needs while also keeping our business strategy in mind. Another important part of your role is identifying opportunities for cross-selling, understanding what the customer needs, and sharing information about relevant live and future events. We're looking for a self-starter with exceptional organizational skills to take on this role. If you're proactive, resourceful, and eager to grow, this could be the perfect fit for you. There's plenty of room for growth and advancement, with opportunities for promotions in sponsorship, production, or management. **Key Responsibilities include**: - Generate revenue by selling on large scale events, specialised conferences and training courses - Identify opportunities to cross sell our whole portfolio of events Finance, Pharma, Maritime, Marketing, Legal and Tax - Provide support, where needed, to ensure revenue is collected on sales that are made - Work towards sales and call rate targets set by the Head of Sales and Global Revenue Director - Provide detailed feedback to divisional managers and other departments on the progress of each event and sales campaign - Contribute to new lead generation activities using all available resources - Following up all leads in a timely and pro-active manner - Ensure consistence of any sales/marketing information (keeping customers apprised of current prices, discounts (if any), target audience, priorities, resource availability etc.) - Liaise closely with both the wider Informa Connect teams and the event team to ensure sales activities are conducted in the most efficient manner, and it is a way that is aligned with the wider business - Additional duties as required in support of the overall business and as the need arises This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere and the chance to travel occasionally to attend conferences, either in the UK, Europe, or worldwide, to support sales and marketing efforts. You'll report to the Head of Sales in your division, but will also have close collaboration with other members of the Informa Connect teams to ensure all sales activities align with the needs of our events and the wider portfolio we offer. **Qualifications**: - Ability to work remotely (currently operating with balanced working) - Occasional travel (UK, Europe, or worldwide) for conferences in support of sales/marketing activity - Proven excellence in communication and identifying customer needs - Good numerical and IT skills - Enthusiasm, drive, and great communication skills - Commercially astute and competitive - Ability to influence and command respect among senior decision makers - Demonstrates leadership qualities through performance and attitude - Direct sales experience not essential, but ability to prove worthiness for the position is a basic requirement Additional Information - 25 days annual leave, 4 days for vol
