**Test Lead**

As a Barclays Test Lead, you will be responsible for supporting mobile automation across the various test teams i.e. feature and release teams, ensuring adherence to testing governance and processes. You will also be maintaining software and tools used for automation and service virtualization, focusing on building efficiency in testing and continuous improvement of test methods, techniques, and processes.

**Hybrid Working**

**What will you be doing?**:

- Performing automation within mobile to reduce availability dependencies on downstream systems and reduce project downtime to help protect timelines and save on cost
- Implementing innovative and creative improvements to the automation strategy to help increase coverage and reduce project test timelines
- Enhancing the quality of Virtualised services across teams e.g., Feature and Release test teams
- Working as deputy to the Automation Test Lead and ensuring constructive working relationships within team and with other functional groups
- Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to develop innovative technical enablement solutions to remove blockers
- Identifying SDLC blockers of varying complexity and propose solutions to remediate quickly

**What we’re looking for**:

- Extensive experience of supporting java/selenium-based automation frameworks
- Experience in Java / Automation
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Knowledge and experience of successful implementation of service virtualisation

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Knowledge and experience using a Service Virtualisation software; CA LISA Service Virtualization, IBM Rational Virtualization Server, HP Service Virtualization, ParaSoft etc
- Background of working in a financial institution
- Software development experience and proven ability to implement and improve new / existing process’s

**Where will you be working?**
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
