**The Role**

The role is to work in a team at our Birkenhead branch and liaise with our head office in Southport, we have 3 stores in total, in Southport, Burscough and Wirral, selling carpets and flooring and advising customers the best option etc for their needs.

On the job training will be given and no past knowledge in flooring is vital although helpful in the initial start of the job, we have known from experience, a willing, adaptable and enthusiastic personality can pick up this role very easily.

The key role is to serve customers, organise and facilitate the sales process and complete the sale of carpet and flooring, then passing this onto our operations department.

As said previously, previous knowledge in flooring or carpets or similar industries is preferred, however we would consider a positive attitude, positive outlook, reliable, hard working and honest personality over experience.

Also an ability to speak to all types of people coherently, confidently and honestly is essential to communicate your point and discuss options with particular people.

**Hours / Days**

As this job is a retail environment, weekend work is essential part of the job. We generally offer basic 40 hour week, with a day in lieu during the week taken for a Saturday worked. Standard hours are 9-5 Monday - Saturday.
