**HR Consultant**
We’re not your typical HR Consultants. We work collaboratively with small businesses across a variety of sectors, to provide commercial HR advice and bespoke ongoing HR support packages. We don’t only advise our clients on what they need, we also do the work.This means the team here are always ready to get stuck in to support a wide variety of HR work including administration, recruitment, change management, employee relations, reward and any other project work our clients need.
You’re a HR Consultant who has experience in supporting employee relations work, and you want to keep building on that. But, you are also ready to get exposure to some other areas of HR and are finding it difficult to do that in an inhouse team and would liketo take on the more interesting projects.
As a HR Consultant you will have your own client load. To do that you will start off you will work closely with a more experienced HR Consultant to support their client work. As you develop relationships with our existing clients, you will take on your ownclients, where you will have more opportunity to develop some wider business skills such as sales and account management.
**HR Consultant responsibilities**:

- Partnering with business owners and directors (the real decision makers).
- Providing high quality, responsive HR support services to your clients.
- Developing relationship with clients and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Advising and managing employee relations and change management processes.
- Coordinating recruitment processes and effective onboarding programmes.
- Developing and implementing performance management procedures.
- Managing the implementation of our partner HR systems.
- Supporting and coaching managers to deal with people issues.
- Preparing HR documentation such as contracts of employment, policies and procedures.
- Assisting with any HR administration needs.
**HR Consultant requirements**:

- Experience and confidence. You’ll be used to advising on a broad range of HR issues, including employee relations.
- Commercial acumen. You’ll be able to solve people management challenges while meeting business needs. You’ll also be interested in learning about sales and account management
- Self-motivated. You’ll be working flexibly and often remotely from the team, but with regular contact.
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills. Goes without saying.
- Polished with credibility. Your interpersonal style will need to give confidence our clients and fit with our culture. You’ll also be great at building relationships.
- Passion. For delivering a high level of customer service and to doing great HR work.
We work flexibly from home, our Sevenoaks office and client sites (which are predominantly based in London). All of the team have the autonomy to manage their own schedule around work and any personal commitments.
