Paying up to £75K, this Greater Manchester based Social Housing provider is looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Finance to lead the Finance team and support the Executive FD for a period of approximately 6 months. This can be a Fixed Term Contractor on a Dayrate (inside IR35), with a hybrid work pattern 2/3 with South Manchester offices.

**THE JOB**

The Interim Head of Finance will provide financial information to the ELT and SMT, ensuring effective financial control and risk management across the group.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead on the annual budget process, ongoing forecasting, and variance analysis
- Oversee treasury reporting, covenant compliance, cashflow forecasting, and compliance with any Treasury Policy's
- Work with the Executive Finance Director on long-term business plan (in Brixx)
- Lead on the financial accounting and the group consolidation
- Mentor and develop the finance team, deputising if required for the Exec FD

**THE PERSON**
- You must be a fully qualified and experienced Head of Finance with a natural ability to lead, coach and engage a small team
- Experience of working within the Housing Sector would be highly advantageous
- The role requires significant experience of managing, setting and monitoring budgets and financial management information
- Experience of finance process improvement and treasury management is highly desirable
- An excellent communicator at both a strategic and operational level, able to business partner the Executive Leadership and Senior Management teams
