Job DescriptionYour new companyMulti-Academy Trust based on-site in North Manchester with exciting plans for growth over the coming year.Your new roleYou will join as Interim Senior Finance Business Manager/Deputy CFO, reporting to the CEO and COO, and play a pivotal role in stabilising and leading the finance function during a period of significant change.Responsibilities include:\tSet and manage the school budget in partnership with the SLT in adherence to trust financial policies and standards.\tLead the finance team to ensure compliant, effective, efficient systems ensuring the team is well equipped, and suitably trained and developed to deliver end to end financial processes.\tDevelop and maintain excellent working relationships with the central finance team to secure consistent and compliant financial management.\tSupport in the preparation of monthly management accounts, and cash flow statements.\tManaging a central finance team and supporting school business managers.\tImplementing processes to manage increased workload and risk as the Trust expands.\tActing as part of the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with Heads and Deputies.\tOverseeing all business support services including finance, HR, student services, admin, operations, IT, facilities, catering, and cleaning (with team leaders in each area).What you'll need to succeed\tProven experience as a Finance Manager or a senior finance leader in Education.\tAbility to lead through transition and growth, with strong strategic and operational finance skills.\tExcellent people skills - able to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders.\tQualified accountant background preferred but QBE will be considered.\tEducation sector experience is highly desirable.What you'll get in return\tCompetitive day rate of £400-£500\tWork within a values-driven organisation committed to serving its community.\tFlexible working hours and the chance to join a supportive leadership team.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, please click "apply" and we will revert to the most relevant applications as soon as possible.
