They are the UK experts in clinical guidelines, standards, and education for resuscitation practice for those working in healthcare and in the public space. They are now recruiting for a Survivors and Families EngagementManager to join their dedicated team, working to improve care for survivors of cardiac arrest and those affected by it.

As their Survivors and Families Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in taking forward RCUK's commitment to improved outcomes from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and care for survivors and their families. Reporting to the Clinical Lead - Survivors,you will work closely with cardiac arrest Survivors, their families & key supporters, to ensure that their needs are reflected in health and care planning and are met through the commissioning and delivery of health and care services. This will require extensiveengagement with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of key objectives and working with partners to ensure that the right expertise is sought and included when developing schemes of work. You will be responsible for the development ofa national strategy for engagement and health inequalities for cardiac arrest Survivors, their families, and key supporters. You will therefore have demonstrable experience of analysing and interpreting complex information and producing written reports andbriefing papers for wide range of stakeholders.

This role would suit either a qualified and experienced patient engagement and health inequalities specialist, or a registered healthcare professional with significant experience and training in this field. You will have significant experience of workingin or setting up networks, working with multiple partners on patient engagement and health inequality initiatives. You will have excellent project planning, analytical, communication and influencing skills, and be confident working in partnership with a varietyof health and care professionals, as well as patients, key supporters and the general public.

Please note this role is initially offered as a 2 year fixed term contract or secondment
