This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their careers and take on a national role within the education sector in a senior support staff role
**Purpose of the role**
- To support and work closely with the CEO in order to enable them to carry out their role successfully and efficiently and in such a way that the priorities and pressures of the role are fully understood.
- To manage and plan the CEOs diary to reflect their priorities
- To highlight all potential risks/ key issues within the regions, to the National Risk Team and other key stakeholders. Resolving these issues where possible or escalating them.
- To take the initiative to make changes swiftly and flexibly to any work plan in order to recognise new and urgent priorities and to reorganise the existing plans to accommodate the changes
- To work with other EAs so that team plans can be executed well
- To represent the CEO in correspondence, other communications and at meetings, both internally and externally
- Provide executive administration support and assistance to the CEO
- To be the first point of contact and gate keeper to the CEO for people from inside and outside the organisation
- Have a willingness to demonstrate commitment to the values and behaviours which flow from the Oasis Community Learning ethos.
- Senior Executive Support Experience
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience in this type of role
- Self-motivated, with a ‘can do’ approach to problem-solving
- Able to demonstrate initiative and work unsupervised
- Team player who is able to work collaboratively
- The ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
- Emotional intelligence and resilience
- Have an excellent standard of written and spoken English and be able to converse at ease with senior colleagues, business contacts and members of the public
- Willingness to undergo personal checks including enhanced DBS checks
