Compliance Assistant

The Compliance Assistant is responsible for supporting the Compliance Manager in maintaining appropriate standards across the firm in relation to all relevant compliance ratings/measurables - this includes ISO standards 9001, 14001 and 27001.
This broad and varied role offers an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to enter Risk & Compliance within the legal sector.
The Compliance Assistant reports to the Compliance Manager and will also work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive on all compliance projects.
The Compliance Assistant will work closely with all departments to communicate to the teams on compliance matters and ensure processes are efficient and adhere to appropriate regulations and legislation.

Role

Key responsibilities will include:

- Provide administrative support for the Compliance Manager.
- Assist with the management of compliance projects, data input & spreadsheet management.
- Maintain and update the firm’s compliance registers and calendar.
- Assist in the preparation of and collation of reports as may be required.
- Coordinate compliance induction training for all new employees.
- Provide cover and support for related administrative tasks as necessary.

You will
- Ideally have previous professional services/law firm experience, but this is not essential.
- Have the ability to learn new IT systems, internal processes, and procedures and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Be organised, process driven and analytical with a pragmatic approach to finding solutions.
- Be highly self-motivated and comfortable with regular deadlines.
- Be able to multi-task and prioritise the workload.
- Be hard-working and a good team player.
- Have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Disclosure will be required in the event that a position is offered._

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
