Head of Portfolio and Group Value Management Office

We have an exciting role for a Head of Portfolio Management (or Group Value Management Office as we call it) to lead the Enterprise Portfolio team in supporting DLG achieve this ambition. We know we need to transition to a more dynamic resourcing model for Change to respond to customer needs and the dynamic external market and you will be critical in driving this transition. Through the team (Value Management Office), you will improve effective portfolio optimisation activity across DLG and act as a champion for cultural change across the business - reinforcing a culture of empowerment, innovation, and agility with customer-centricity at the heart of it all.
Reporting into our Director of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions, you will work with our Executive Committee (ExCo) and Enterprise Change stakeholders across DLG to enable the Group to deliver more value from our portfolio.
You will be facing off to our ExCo - helping them set and define the Group annual OKR's, ensuring they align with the business strategy. Through this, you'll own and evolve the quarterly business review (QBR) process to better and more holistically manage business performance and strategic prioritisation while maintaining alignment with the change portfolio.
**What you'll be doing**
- Creating and maintaining a multi-year integrated business plan which aligns with the group's vision, financial plan, people plan, product, and technology roadmap.
- Creating and owning Portfolio-wide dependencies based on business plan to drive efficiency across the group.
- Designing and maintaining Prioritisation process to effectively control the incoming demands vs the investment and help group to make informed decisions based on value and benefits for the business.
- Designing and leading Business case process based on types of changes to drive effective decision making across the Group.
- Leading Portfolio Risk management and work closely with 1LOD and 2LOD.
- Working with the Strategy team, Agile Coaches and ELN to embed our Agile model within the organisation
- Engaging with and influencing a wide range of senior stakeholders including ExCo, Board and ELN, as well as inspiring the DLG change community
**What we're looking for**
- Experience of managing portfolio-wide change within an Agile matrixed environment
- Ability to drive, motivate and influence others including those across the organisation - eg ExCo and Board, Technology and Change teams
- Strategically and commercially aware
- Understanding of corporate governance and risk management
