A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Urgent Response and District Nursing Out of Hours teams.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Housekeeper to provide efficient support to our clinical and administrative teams.

The Urgent Response Service is a multi-disciplinary team providing input to patients, in their own home, who are experiencing an acute illness or injury (within the Salford area or to those with a Salford GP). The team provide support to prevent admissions and support early discharge from hospital via a number of pathways including IV service and remote monitoring
Operating 7 days per week 08.00 - 22.00

The DN Out of Hours service provide an evening and overnight nursing service across the city of Salford, visiting a vast number of patients, whose conditions can often be very complex operating from 18.00-08.00.

This role is key in ensuring that the staffing across these two teams are stocked sufficiently with all of the equipment required to provide the highest level of care.

To help provide the housekeeping service between 8am to 4pm, 5 days a week Monday - Friday.

You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise across multi agencies and multi-disciplinary departments.

Previous housekeeper and office experience, knowledge of PAS would be highly desirable, however training can be provided.

The ability to work independently and adapt to an environment of changing priorities is an essential component to consistently facilitate a patient focused approached.
