40 hours per week (5 days) with remote working (UK only). You will be required to be located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire with Senior Management 1 day per month.

**About the role**:
With excellent client management skills you’ll be overseeing the delivery and publishing of important social media and blog content for Germany. You may also be required to assist with English speaking accounts. Your core client is a household name withinthe gaming industry and we are looking for someone to manage the editorial processes for their blog.

We are looking for someone with the right cultural fit as much as the attributes for the role. Whilst the core function of the role will require the individual to have top-notch translation skills, we are happy to consider up-skilling the right individualfor any rusty digital skills. We are very much looking to hire for 'will’ as much as 'skill’ if the individual has the right attitude for joining our close-knit global team.

You will be responsible for editing, proof-reading, preparing and translating English articles accepted for publication and proof-reading social media content before publishing. You will also be required to support administration processes for reportingpurposes.

Day-to-day you will be leading the publishing process for one of our gaming clients, as well as managing a variety of work with our other entertainment clients. Our projects span across online events, social media management, content creation to online compliance;no two days will be the same.

Whilst the core part of the role is not copywriting or creative-focussed, you will be joining an exciting team of experts who are passionate about digital, gaming and technology. A typical day with your core client would consist of proof-reading, editingand preparing between 3 to 6 blog posts, each consisting of around 500-1000 words. The role would require the individual to occasionally translate 'hot’ blog copy within a short turnaround time; as well as prepare the content for publishing using a CMS.

You will be working with client stakeholders at all levels, so we need someone who is well-versed in managing expectations and constructively pushing back or advising where needed.

You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and will work closely with the CEO as well as other in-house departments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Editing, proofing, and managing digital content
- Plan, prepare and post blog posts with a large-scale readership
- Scheduling and posting content within the client’s social media management tools
- Translate, edit and proof-read blog and social media content in German (each content type varies on the amount of translations required)
- You will be preparing between 6 - 12 posts per day which are a mixture of blog and social media posts
- Ensuring distribution of assets is coordinated across the required territories
- Escalating all issues immediately to Senior stakeholders
- Contributing to overall development and improvement of our client’s processes, platforms and strategies
- Maintaining a glossary of frequently used terms and guidelines for consistency
- Keeping up to date with technological developments, as well as rules and conditions of use of various platforms
- Account management of social media focussed tasks predominantly with our core TV client
- Supporting with in-house new business tasks when required

What we are looking for:

- Native in target language - spoken and written (German)
- Experienced in translating nuances, slogans and fictional content
- Ability to translate up to 1000 words in 30 minutes (written)
- Proven experience in a professional online, editorial, social media, or marketing role
