**Monday to Friday (7am to 4:30pm)**

**Key Responsibilities**
- First point of contact for our customers and our drivers, managing calls in a professional and efficient manner assisting and reacting to their needs.
- Day-to-day scheduling of jobs for our fleet of HGV tipper trucks.
- Assist in managing deliveries (in and out of the business), liaising with customers to meet current and anticipated orders.
- Transport administration, collecting relevant documentation to ensure vehicle legislation / compliance, producing vehicle reports per Transport Manager instructions.
- Set up and maintain accurate and up to date customer information within our internal systems.
- Assist in arranging timely safety inspections and MOTs for our vehicle fleet.
- Any other operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Transport Department.
- From time to time, you may be required to undertake other duties within other departments when business needs dictate as directed by management.

**Experience and Skills**
- Previous experience in Transport or Fleet Management is essential.
- Previous experience within the recycling or waste management industry would be advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of driver’s rules and regulations is essential.
- Strong IT skills, confident and competent in MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Previous experience in customer service with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Numerical competence, highly accurate, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
